Oman vs Qatar football shows more Al-Annabi possessions but fell short on target
Qatar was the more aggressive team, leading in ball safe (93-83), corners (5-2), and crosses (21-6).
Akram Afif registered one of Qatar’s eight goal attempts, but the captain’s shot at the 49th minute went wide.
The Al-Annabi also emerged as the better passing squad with more key passes (10-3) and better passing accuracy 0.87-0.72).
However, Oman made sure it was not lagging defensively, committing more fouls (15-9) and more saves (2-1).
The Al-Ahmar were also tops in action areas (23.00-21.50) despite falling short of landing a win.
