US HOST CITIES ASSURE ALL FANS WELCOME TO WATCH WORLD CUP MATCHES

US host cities on Monday asured that all fans are welcome to watch the World Cup matches live.

Furthermore, US President Donald Trump’s administration said it had been “extremely supportive” of fan support for the World Cup.

Moreover, Philadelphia organizing committee head Meg Kane gave the assurance.

“For each of our cities, we want to be prepared to make any person that is coming and makes the decision to come to the United States or come to this World Cup feel that they are welcome,” Kane said.

“We do not plat a role necessarily in what is happening in terms of decisions that are made,” she added.

Visa, border controls, and social unrest concerns continue to hound World Cup fan support in the US.

Moreover, global fans are jittery on Trump’s purported global trade war.

Furthermore, officials of committees from the 11 US host cities are calming tourists’ concerns.

“What we can say is that the current administration while there are certain situations that we are monitoring closely – has been extremely supportive of FIFA World Cup,” Kane assured.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be co-hosted by the US, Canada, and Mexico.

NEW YORK, BROOKLYN, LA COMMITTEE OFFICIALS SHARE OPTIMISM FOR WORLD CUP

Committee officials from New York and New Jersey, as well as Los Angeles share Kane’s optimism.

Furthermore, New York/New Jersey World Cup committee chief executive Alex Lasry expects “millions” of fans to fill out stadiums.

Moreover, Los Angeles World Cup committee vice-president Jason Krutzsch wants to “understand they are welcome in Los Angeles.”

“I think sports transcends geopolitics. I think we’ve seen that for Olympics,: Lasry told Agence France-Presse.

“People want to come to these mega sporting events, and they’re going to travel to ensure that they’re able to cheer on and see their team play,” he added.
