Man City was ousted after Al Hilal advanced in a FIFA Club World Cup thriller on Monday at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
Furthermore, Marcos Leonardo delivered an exciting second goal in extra time that steered Al Hilal to a monumental 4-3 upset of the Premier League powerhouse.

Man City was ousted as Leonardo’s brace, coupled by a goal each from Malcolm and Kalidou Koulibaly carried the Saudi Pro League side to victory.
Furthermore, Bernardo Silva delivered the opening goal for City in the ninth minute before Leonardo’s first goal tied it in the 46th minute.
Moreover, Malcolm eventually put Al Hilal to the lead at 2-1 in the 52nd minute, but Erling Haaland responded with another City goal to tie it.

This set up Leonardo’s winning goal on a rebound in the 112th minute.
That left City’s players and fans stunned in disbelief.
GUARDIOLA THOUGHT CITY ‘WERE REALLY, REALLY GOOD,’ LAUDS AL HILAL
City manager Pep Guardiola thought his team “were really, really good” throughout the back-and-forth match.
Moreover, the 54-year-old Spanish manager could not ask for more from his players.
Furthermore, he also praised Al Hilal called the Saudi Pro League a “good team with top quality.”
“The chances we created were magnificent but unfortunately, we could not turn it around, Guardiola told DAZN.
“We knew it (Al Hilal) was a good team with top quality,” he added.

EDERSON SAVE LED TO LEONARDO’S SECOND GOAL
City goalkeeper eEderson saved a header from Sergej Milinkovic as Al Hilal pushed for the lead.
Furthermore, the save led to the ball going back into play and into the feet of Leonardo.
Moreover, Al Hilal got a lift from goalkeeper Yassine Bounou.
He made 11 saves to deny City a place in the semifinals.
“I know a lot of their (Al Hilal) players, some of them are my friends, so were not surprised (by their quality),” Silva said afterwards.
“We lacked a bit more concentration and organization when we lost the ball,” he added.
Al Hilal will advance into the next round against Fluminense, a 2-0 winner over Inter Milan also Monday.
